Photographs from an Incredible Journey

Please Note 1:
If you would like to view the images from the trip to the North Pole, you can select from the list below. I took a total of 441 photographs during the trip; 343 of them are presented to you in these pages. All of these images have been scanned to offer you the the full size (denoted by the symbol).

Please Note 2:
In the upper left and lower right corner of every page, you will see some symbols to help you navigate through the images. The following table will explain what each symbol does for you.

Explanation of Symbols (Specific to Viewing Images)

Previous Page This will take you to the entry in the log associated with the image being displayed.
Top This will take you to the Main page of the document. Once you are viewing the Main page, selecting this symbol again will bring you to the README File.
Image Index This will display the "At a Glance" polar image page. This is useful when you are viewing a picture and would like to see the entire matrix of images to select another.
Text Index This will display the "Polar Image Text Index" page. This is useful when you are viewing a picture and would like to see the entire textual list of images to select another.
Member List This will display the Polar Expedition Members page. When you are viewing the image of a fellow travelling companion, this is useful when you want to return to the complete list.
Full Size Image This indicates a full size image of the photograph is available. Selecting this will display the full size image.
Take Note Stop and take note of the information or data being flagged.
Start Auto Sequencer Start the sequence of images from the beginning.
Pause Auto Sequencer Momentarily pause the auto sequencer to view the image.
Restart Auto Sequencer Restart the sequence of images from the current displayed image.
