001 * I built my first dollhouse in early 1992. Here I am working on it in the basement of our home. It was the Tiffani kit from Greenleaf - a small Victorian style cottage, labeled as an excellent starter house. I wanted a small house to hold some old dollhouse furniture which I received from my Mom. The furniture was given to her when she was a young girl (around 1940). It had belonged to the daughter of a family friend, who was by then grown up. So... the furniture was probably from the early 1920's at least. I had such fun building and decorating this little house and I couldn't wait to do another.
